Guest speaker Montell Jordan, returning to Impact Church, delivered a message titled 'Faith for the Future.' He opened by expressing his honor to be back and his deep friendship with Pastors Trav and Natalie. The core message centered on the transformative power of being in Christ, emphasizing that in Him, we become new creations and our past does not define our destiny. Pastor Montell shared five key steps to increase faith for the future, each warning against allowing external or internal factors to limit God's plans. He used personal stories, including his transition from a music career to ministry and recent family losses, to illustrate how God redeems our stories. He powerfully challenged the congregation not to be defined by past mistakes, personal pain, other people's opinions, financial status, or earthly titles, but to find their identity in Christ alone. The sermon concluded with a heartfelt altar call, emphasizing that salvation and the assurance of eternity are the ultimate foundation for our future hope. The tone was encouraging, transparent, and focused on spiritual growth and obedience.
